Bring Me Sunshine Video Goes Viral

CDThe Jive Aces new music video for the forthcoming single "Bring Me Sunshine" (is.good/sunshine) in now online. It's already received over 250,000 views on YouTube in just three weeks.

We've been getting rave reviews from everyone who's seen it so if you haven't seen it yet then you're in for a smile!

Please help us spread the sunshine and repost the link to FaceBook and Twitter, send to friends and family by email or any other way! The single will be released both as a download from iTunes and other stores as well as a CD single on the 1st May!

"Get Me To The Church On Time" Single Release

ChurchTo celebrate the Royal Wedding, just for fun we recorded a swingin' version of the classic tune "Get Me To The Church On Time". Official release date is the 25th April, in time to work up the festivities before the wedding (and our appearance on "Come Dine With Me" - see below article).

Back From The USA

PBDAThe Jive Aces just had their most successful American tour yet. In just under two weeks the band did eight shows (visiting both coasts), recorded six songs and shot a new music video and two ukulele tutorials (subscribe to our youtube channel for updates)! The shows themselves included two of California's most prestigious theatres - Cerritos Performing Arts Centre with Keely Smith and The McCallum Centre with Ed Ames (of the Ames Brothers, "Ragg Mopp" fame), both to over 1200 people; breaking our own house record with over 900 dancers coming to the Spanish Ballroom in DC; two shows with the fabulous Satin Dollz in Pasadena and LA; And at one of New York's top cabaret spots with the Manhattan Dolls, which got a rave review which you can see by clicking HERE.

Swinging in the City

Albert HallThe Jive Aces will be appearing at a number of the London's top venues and events over the next few months including: Ronnie Scott's (www.ronniescotts.co.uk); Vintage Dance Club at Canary Wharf (www.mycanarywharf.com); The 100 Club (www.the100club.co.uk); a special 30th Anniversary appearance at Dover Street (www.doverst.co.uk), a regular spot in the band's early days; Pizza Express @ The Pheasantry (www.pizzaexpresslive.com) and a headline appearance at The Vintage Festival on the Southbank (www.vintagebyhemingway.co.uk) Full details are on the Gig Guide.

Summertime Swing

Special early bird tickets are now available for Summertime Swing 2011 which will be held on the Sunday 7th August, 3:00pm at Saint Hill Manor, East Grinstead, West Sussex, RH19 4JY. As usual we'll have some very special guests (to be announced) and BBQs, classic vehicles, vintage stalls and all proceeds go to charity. We've had a host of media appearances in the past few weeks including appearances on Channel 4 for 4Thought TV, Sky One for on Louie Spence's Show Business, a mention in Hello Magazine for the Berkeley Square Ball and coming up soon on 29th April we'll be on the Royal Wedding Special edition of "Come Dine With Me" on Channel 4.
